On the afternoon of May 15, 2025, the STAMEQ Youth Union, in collaboration with relevant units, organized a hybrid (in-person and online) workshop titled “Applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) to Improve Work Efficiency.”
The program was attended by Dr. Nguyen Thien Nghia – Deputy Director of STAMEQ; Mr. Tran Xuan Bach – Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology; Ms. Tran Hai Ninh – Secretary of the STAMEQ Youth Union; Ms. Nguyen Hang Trang – CEO of iViet Business Academy and a member of the Vietnam E-Commerce Association; Ms. Phung Thi Thu Huyen – Representative of AIA Vietnam Life Insurance Company – the companion unit of the workshop, along with other Youth Union members of the Committee.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Ninh emphasised that in the context of rapid digital transformation, the Commission’s leadership has taken strong action to promote the application of AI to reduce daily workloads by at least 30%. “Artificial Intelligence is an inevitable trend of our era, and no one can afford to stand outside of this revolution. Therefore, I hope today’s training will equip Youth Union members with fundamental knowledge and skills to improve their work efficiency through the use of AI,” said Ms. Ninh. Mr. Nghia, Deputy Director General of STAMEQ, also affirmed that AI has tremendous potential to help us analyse and synthesise data and make decisions. AI will fundamentally change the way organisations operate and even their structural models.
During the program, Ms. Trang delivered a talk titled “Applying AI to Enhance Efficiency and Optimise Works.” She shared several tips on how to use popular AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google Studio AI, Google Gemini, Grok, Deepseek, and others to automate workflows, create content, and boost productivity. She also pointed out some common mistakes when using AI, including: not applying the 5W1H method, not using multiple AI tools together, overestimating AI’s capabilities, and mixing too many unrelated topics in one conversation. The program offered many valuable insights to Youth Union members, helping raise awareness about how AI can assist not only in their work but also in daily life. Clearly, as Dr. Ha Minh Hiep – Acting Director General of STAMEQ – once said: “AI won’t replace you, but someone who knows how to use AI will.” This underscores the importance of staying informed and learning how to use AI effectively as a vital path for personal growth and keeping pace with the rapid development of society.
