The Youth Union of the Commission for the Standards, Metrology and Quality of Viet Nam (STAMEQ) Wins First Prize in the Response Competition of the 7th English Olympic Competition for young cadres in 2025

On the morning of May 16, 2025, the Opening Ceremony of the 7th English Olympiad for Young Officials took place with the theme: “Vietnamese youth officials stepping into the thriving era together with English.”
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam emphasized that in a modern, transparent, and globally integrated administrative system, young officials are not only required to have strong expertise but also global thinking, the ability to work in multicultural environments, and proficiency in foreign languages. These qualities are essential for them to become effective bridges between Vietnam and the world.

The competition aims to inspire a spirit of continuous learning and language training among young officials nationwide. It is not only a test of English proficiency but also a platform to connect young people working in the state apparatus, who are carrying the responsibility of national development in the era of renewal and international integration.
As assigned by the Youth Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology, representatives of STAMEQ Youth Union participated in the Opening Ceremony and the Response competition after the ceremony with outstanding results, with Mr. Doan Anh Vu from the International Cooperation Department winning first place, and Mr. Do Hong Quan from the Viet Nam Certification Centre (QUACERT) winning second place in the category for civil servants, public employees.
