Youth Union of STAMEQ organized the Conference to disseminate STAMEQ’s plans and vision in 2024

On 20th February, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) of Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ) organized the Conference to disseminate the plans, vision of STAMEQ in 2024.

Attending the Conference were Dr. Ha Minh Hiep – Acting Director General of STAMEQ, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan – Deputy Secretary of HCYU of Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Ms. Tran Hai Ninh – Deputy Secretary of HCYU of MOST, Secretary of HCYU of STAMEQ along with more than 150 young offcials of 12 HCYU divisions which belong to HCYU of STAMEQ.

The conference aims to disseminate to all union members and young officials the key tasks and plans, including the STAMEQ Vision with 5 pillars (STAMEQ Spirit, STAMEQ People, STAMEQ Culture, STAMEQ Action, STAMEQ Initiative) that the Communist Party of STAMEQ will implement. Through that, young officials will be able to grasp and get an overview of the activities of STAMEQ, from which each individual will be aware of their role to contribute practically to the common development of STAMEQ.

Speaking at the opening, Secretary of HCYU of STAMEQ Tran Hai Ninh said that during the 2022-2027 term, HCYU of STAMEQ will focus on implementing union work and youth movements associated with the implementation of political and professional tasks of STAMEQ, thereby further promoting the role of youth in building and developing their departments and units. The Union also focuses on creating an environment and opportunities to encourage and foster young officials to promote their strengths. Increasing awareness of productivity and embracing the productivity culture, continuous improvement among the youth are also emphasized. At the same time, the Union also try to maintain the culture of learning and provide more solutions to improve foreign language ability for young officials.

Dr Ha Minh Hiep emphasized building a strong and united union to build a “both ready and expert” youth generation of STAMEQ with dreams, ambitions, and aspirations for self-development, organization development.

Deputy Secretary of HCYU of MOST Nguyen Thi Thu Lan acknowledged the contributions of HCYU of STAMEQ to the work of the HCYU of MOST.

Within the framework of the conference, Deputy Secretary of HCYU of STAMEQ Le Ngoc Hieu presented the Plan of youth union work and movements in 2024 including tagerts, tasks and solutions.

Union members shared difficulties and problems during the working process, had lively discussions, and devised ideas to implement union activities effectively.
