The 2024″The Knowledge Contest on Quality & Productivity among Students” in the Central region concludes successfully.

On the afternoon of November 27, the Office and Youth Union of the Commission for the Standards, Metrology and Quality of Viet Nam (STAMEQ) jointly organized the competition “The Knowledge Contest on Quality & Productivity among Students” in 2024 in the Central region.

Attending the competition, Mr. Nguyen Phu Quoc – Director of the Quality Metrology Standards Technical Center 2, the Commission for the Standards, Metrology and Quality of Viet Nam; Mr. Pham Le Cuong – Deputy Chief of the Office of the STAMEQ – Head of the Organizing Committee of the competition; Mr. Pham Cong Tuc – Deputy Head of the Financial Planning Department – STAMEQ, Mr. Tran Quang Hung – Member of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of the STAMEQ, Mr. Le Manh Hung – Secretary of Youth Union of the Quatest 2.

Speaking at the opening of the contest, Mr. Nguyen Phu Quoc – Director of Quatest 2 highlighted the important role of Quality Productivity in socio-economic development.

He said “The Knowledge Contest on Quality & Productivity among Students in 2024” is an opportunity for young people to equip practical knowledge in this field, thereby improving the effectiveness of learning and training, preparing solid equipment to be applied in practice at agencies and businesses in the future.

The competition takes place in 3 parts: Part 1 is a greeting and warm-up with a maximum score of 120 points with a presentation time of 7 minutes for each team; Part 2 is general knowledge with a maximum score of 100 points for 2 minutes answering 10 questions; Part 3 is a presentation with a maximum score of 180 points and 5 minutes of presentation for each team, in each part, the number of points won by each team is the average total number of the Jury.

The contest revolves around general knowledge about quality productivity through a live sharing session on Quality Productivity at universities and colleges and online training sessions on productivity and quality improvement tools. The STAMEQ  coordinates with universities and colleges in the period of 2023 – 2024; Projects, plans to improve and improve quality productivity in life, schools and businesses.

The competition took place excitingly with the participation of a large number of students from the following universities: Da Nang East Asia University, Da Nang Vocational College, Nha Trang University, Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Phan Thiet University.

At the end of the qualifying round in the Central region, Nha Trang University Club excellently won the final ticket, which is expected to take place on December 27, 2024 in Hanoi.
