On the afternoon of March 14th, the Center for Enabling Startups and Knowledge Transfer (CSK), Hanoi National University in collaboration with the Vietnam Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ), organized a Closing Ceremony and Certificate Awarding for the completion of the training course covering 10 programs on productivity and quality knowledge dissemination.
At the ceremony, there were Associate Professor Dr. Truong Ngoc Kiem – Director of the Center for Enabling Startups and Knowledge Transfer, Mr. Pham Le Cuong – Vice Chief of Office at the Vietnam Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ), Ms. Tran Hai Ninh – Secretary of the Youth Union of STAMEQ, along with over 100 students from Hanoi National University.
After more than 2 months of implementation, the ‘Enhancing Productivity and Quality’ training program has attracted significant attention from a large number of students at Hanoi National University.
Participating in the course, students have been trained in 10 skills related to productivity and quality, including important skills such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean, KPI, etc.
At the end of the course, 227 students from Hanoi National University successfully completed the training and met the criteria to receive certificates from STAMEQ.

At the certificate award ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Truong Ngoc Kiem – Director CSK, stated that the reality shows that students nowadays lack expertise in productivity and quality. Therefore, the training program aimed at enhancing students’ awareness of productivity and quality is highly necessary.
With 10 training sessions on productivity, valuable knowledge and experience have been provided to support students in their future studies and work. It is hoped that in the coming years, the CSK will continue to collaborate with the STAMEQ in implementing further activities related to productivity training, and we look forward to the enthusiastic participation of students, emphasized by Associate Professor Dr. Truong Ngoc Kiem.

At the ceremony, Mr. Pham Le Cuong – Vice Chief of Office of STAMEQ said that productivity must become a habit, a mindset, and a lens through which individuals perceive everything, only then can it truly be efficiently. Currently, if workers and students do not apply productivity practices, those habits gradually fade away. Therefore, instead of training productivity within enterprises, STAMEQ proposed productivity training in universities, which was approved by the Prime Minister. For the first time, STAMEQ organized productivity and quality training for students through online platforms, attracting a large number of participants (total around 6,500 students attended in 25 Universities). This is considered a preliminary success in training productivity for students.
In the upcoming time, STAMEQ will implement further activities on productivity training for students across the North, Central, and South regions.
