On the afternoon of January 19, Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ) organized a seminar on STAMEQ development orientation is a source of inspiration from the STAMEQ’s Leaders, who want to convey to all civil servants, officials, and staffs of the STAMEQ.
Presenting and directing the workshop were Dr. Ha Minh Hiep, Acting Director General of STAMEQ and more than 1,000 people including civil servants, officials, and staffs of the STAMEQ’s units attended in person and online. Dr. Ha Minh Hiep emphasized that the discussion on the draft of 5 STAMEQ topics is not only an opportunity to look directly at shortcomings but also an opportunity to exchange work with sincerity with a progressive spirit and transparency. This is an important step in identifying and solving challenges in the organization.
In the opinion of Dr. Ha Minh Hiep, STAMEQ’s position and development depend largely on our human resources. The change from our ancestors’ generation needing only 3 years to learn to work in farming, to the current generation needing 10-15 years to learn a profession that can make them live their entire lives. Therefore, if people are not flexible in the learning process, they cannot adapt to rapid changes in modern society.
Also according to Dr. Ha Minh Hiep, the vision of STAMEQ not only solving economic issue but also focus on human resources issues. Each individual in the organization needs to change and control personal desires, thereby creating a positive and united working environment.

STAMEQ’s mission and vision is the journey to reach out to the world such as Halal, climate change, new energy issues, etc. To achieve this goal, developing National Quality Infrastructure (NQI) is inevitable.

“5 topics include STAMEQ Spirit, STAMEQ People, STAMEQ Actions, STAMEQ Culture, STAMEQ Engineering will be edited and reported to the Party Committee of STAMEQ, before issuing the Resolution; At the same time, continue to collect opinions from all civil servants, officials, and staffs for developing an action plan each year. This is considered an important step to optimize performance and ensure that all our efforts will focus on human resources evolution, contributing to the sustainable development and success of the STAMEQ”, Dr. Ha Minh Hiep emphasized.
