Workshop on Best practices sharing and capacity building on traceability of products

On the morning of August 8, 2018, Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ) coordinated with Asian productivity organization (APO) to hold a workshop on on Best practices sharing and capacity building on traceability of products.

Attending the workshop, there are over 50 representatives come from Ministries, offices , branches and business.
On the behalf of APO, there were Mr. Wee Kheng Soon Rodney and other professionals of APO.
Opening speech at the workshop, Mr Pham Le Cuong – Director of Quacert hoped that this workshop will share necessary contents about traceability of products to the delegates such as: product origin, production materials, how to make the product and certificate of origin…
Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Rodney Wee – APO professional introduced about concept, benefit and application of traceability of products to the delegates. He also shared experience lessons of other countries on application and management of traceability of products, and how to build and apply the origin tracing system for Viet Nam business….
Also at this workshop, Quacert center introduced about the standard of traceability of products. This standard supplies important knowledge to the business, organizations to help them building the long term goals on product tracing
Through this workshop, the delegates also understood clearly on traceability of products.
