STAMEQ YOUTH DAY 2024 – Pioneering, Creativity, Courage, Solidarity, Development

On March 26, in a joyful atmosphere to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (26/3/1931 – 26/3/2024), the 65th anniversary of the Ministry of Science and Technology’s founding (1959 – 2024), and the 62nd anniversary of STAMEQ’s founding (1962 – 2024), Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) of STAMEQ organized STAMEQ YOUTH DAY 2024 and a dialogue conference between the Communist Party, leaders and the Youth Union.
Attending the conference were comrade Ha Minh Hiep – Secretary of Communist Party, Acting Director General of STAMEQ, comrade Tran Xuan Bach – Secretary of HCYU of Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), comrade Tran Hai Ninh – Secretary of HCYU of STAMEQ, comrades in the Communist Party of STAMEQ, comrades representing party committees, leaders of units affiliated STAMEQ and HCYU of QUATEST 2, HCYU of QUATEST 3.
At the conference, leaders and youths engaged in an exciting and meaningful dialogue. The conference is also an opportunity to propagate and disseminate the implementation of guidelines and policies for union members and youth and solutions to raise awareness and promote the roles and responsibilities of union members and young people in building and developing STAMEQ.
During the dialogue, the youths asked questions and expressed their concerns and demonstrate their responsibility to contribute to implementing the political tasks of units, and through it, leaders at all levels grasp the situation, listen to and answer the petitions, suggestions and aspirations of union members and youth, and through the exchange of ideological orientation for union members and youth, motivate and encourage them. Encourage union members and youth to promote their role and youth in carrying out political tasks at agencies and units.
“For the 2022-2027 term, STAMEQ Youth Union has developed a program to deploy union activities and youth movements associated with implementing the political tasks of STAMEQ. In addition to propaganda and education focusing on the guidelines and policies of MOST and STAMEQ, other youth movements and activities are also associated with the proactive role of youth union members in building and development of agencies and units. Pay special attention to creating an environment to organize activities to foster and provide knowledge for youth union members,” Comrade Tran Hai Ninh emphasized.
The conference also discussed policies to support union work in the coming time and the training, planning, and placement of capable young officials. It especially responded to the petitions and suggestions of young people and oriented itself to resolve them.
Speaking at the Conference, comrade Ha Minh Hiep emphasized that the STAMEQ Youth Union needs to continue promoting youth’s pioneering role and contributing to building STAMEQ.
STAMEQ Youth Day 2024 with many special programs, which brought many practical values and entertainment. The festival aimed to connect, learn, and share among youth union members and, at the same time, create motivation and a positive, enthusiastic, productive, and effective working environment for youth union members.
