On March 27, 2025, the Youth Union of the Commission for the Standards, Metrology and Quality of Viet Nam (STAMEQ) organized an English-themed seminar with the topic “Introduction about STAMEQ.” This was the first activity to implement the Youth Union’s action plan for 2025, aimed at promoting the movement of learning and enhancing English proficiency among the union members and youth of STAMEQ. This initiative is intended to respond to the international integration situation and to improve competitive capacity in the context of the country’s rapidly advancing development in all aspects.
The program featured the participation of Dr. Nguyễn Thiện Nghĩa – Deputy Director-General of STAMEQ, Ms. Đỗ Thị Hải Anh – Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department, along with the youth members from relevant units under the Committee.

This specialized activity program is organized with the main objectives of enhancing the ability to use professional English, creating an environment for English practice, increasing understanding of STAMEQ, and encouraging a spirit of learning and cooperation among members.

The program has attracted a large participation of young members, especially young officials working in the fields of standards, measurement, and quality. Through this activity, members not only have the opportunity to practice their English communication skills but also to share and exchange professional knowledge and practical experience in their work.
The program was designed with various exciting activities, ensuring high interactivity and creating opportunities for all members to participate. The main content of the program includes two main parts: Learning general knowledge about STAMEQ and Introduction about STAMEQ (The Traditional Room of STAMEQ) to enhance the understanding of youth about the organizational structure and its affiliated units.
The program was successfully held, opening up a useful and meaningful playground for young members. With the interest and support from the leadership of the Committee and its affiliated units, along with the enthusiasm of the members, the program promises not only to help improve specialized English skills but also to contribute to enhancing understanding of STAMEQ and promoting the spirit of cooperation and learning within the unit. With positive feedback from the members, the STAMEQ Youth Union will continue to organize similar activities, aiming to build a professional team ready for integration and international cooperation.
