Within the framework of the project “Promoting quality assurance services for sustainable energy” between the Commission for Standards, Metrology and Quality of Vietnam – STAMEQ (Vietnam) and the German National Institute of Metrology (Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt – PTB), from August 5th to 12th, 2024, the delegation of the STAMEQ consists of 06 members from technical units: Vietnam Metrology Institute (VMI); Vietnam Certification Center (Quacert); Quality Assurance and Testing Center (Quatest 1, Quatest 2 and Quatest 3) participated in the training course on solar energy simulation techniques at PTB’s headquarters in the Federal Republic of Germany.
The working group of the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality on solar simulation techniques at PTB.
During the training course, the delegation was enthusiastically guided by PTB’s experts on the theory and practice of measurement techniques related to the solar simulation system at the photovoltaic cell laboratory of PTB.
Einstein building – PTB’s Optical Research Center, where photovoltaic cell laboratories are located.
Training on solar simulation techniques at PTB’s photovoltaic battery laboratory
In addition, the delegation visited laboratories in the field of photovoltaic cells of PTB and a number of organizations researching and operating in the field of photovoltaics of Germany such as: German Meteorological Agency – DWD, Solar Energy Research Institute – IFSH, Solar Energy Equipment Company – IMT.
Visiting and learning about laboratories related to PTB’s photovoltaic battery sector.
Visiting and working at the German Meteorological Service – DWD and IFSH Solar Research Institute
Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) is one of the leading metrology institutes in the world. Visiting, learning and training at PTB is a great opportunity, bringing a lot of valuable knowledge to the delegation in the field of photovoltaic cells in particular and the field of measurement in general. Hopefully, the cooperation between the two parties PTB and STAMEQ will increasingly develop, comprehensively achieve.
