According to Mr. Tuan Anh, 5S training has the goal of understanding the nature and meaning of each S in 5S and initially forming the ability to practice 5S at work.
5S virtual training session attracted a large number of students attention
When we encounter problems such as unable to find documents or things; do not know where to put it; do not know its status, untidy workplace, cluttet,… all will be resolved with 5S.
5S was derived from the Japanese words Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke, in English they can be roughly translated as sort, set in order, clean, standardize, and sustain. Seiri means removing all unnecessary things from the workplace. Seiton means placing remaining things in marked positions for easy pickup. Seiso means sweeping and cleaning. Seiketsu means maintenance of cleanliness. Shitsuke means spontaneous implementation of these good practices.
In order to students grasp and understand the knowledge about the 5S tool, Mr. Tuan Anh gave many illustrative examples, as well as practical applications in practice from which students can operate. Even using it in daily life and studies as well.
The virtual training session kept attendees engaged and received lots of interesting questions from students. All questions have been satisfactorily answered by STAMEQ experts
